first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, March 1, 2019:Car struck and killed a rabbit on Lowell Street. Animal Control Officer contacted. (11:21am)Tewksbury Police asked Wilmington Police to be on the lookout for a BMW involved in a pedestrian hit-and-run that took place in front of their Walmart. Vehicle last seen heading south on Route 38 toward Wilmington. Tewksbury Police eventually located vehicle. (1:38pm)North Reading Police asked Wilmington Police to be on the lookout after reports that a female operator appeared intoxicated and unsteady on her feet. She left in a Honda Civic from the 7-11 in North Reading heading down Route 62 towards Wilmington. Police unable to locate. (3:34pm)A Kenwood Avenue caller reported a neighbor cut down a tree that was on the joint property line. Caller was advised this was a civil matter. (7:10pm)Fire Department responded to a gas odor at a Glen Road home.
